Iodex Rapid Action Pain Relief Spray’s five active ingredients are Turpentine Oil, Peppermint Satva, Eucalyptus Oil, Clove Oil and Indian Wintergreen. These ingredients possess analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties, which on application reduce deep seated local pain and inflammation, hence providing targeted relief¹ from pain. On application, Iodex Rapid Action Pain Relief Spray provides a dual sensation of cooling followed by long-lasting warming sensation of the affected area, which gives a soothing effect. It is available in two sizes: 60 g and 35 g.

How to use Iodex Rapid Action Spray

Hold the container about 5 cm from the skin and spray the affected area for 2-3 seconds 3-4 times a day.

Dosage

For topical use only.

For use in adults and children aged 12 years and above.

Shake well before use. Spray the formulation, from a distance of 5 cm, onto the skin where you have pain for 2 to 3 seconds. Apply 3 to 4 times per day.

After application:

The hands should be wiped with e.g. an absorbent paper, and then washed, unless they are the site being treated.
Wait until the product dries before showering, bathing.

Contra-indications

Do not use this product if:

You are allergic to Gandhapura Patra Taila, Peppermint Satva, Tarpin Taila, Niligiri Taila, Lavanga Taila or any other ingredients of this product.

Warnings and Precautions

Check with your doctor before use if you are allergic to non-steroidal anti inflammatory medicines used to treat pain, fever or inflammation, such as ibuprofen or aspirin or you have wheezing or shortness of breath or nasal polyps.

Discontinue the treatment if a skin rash develops after applying the product.

Do not give this product to children under 12 years of age, unless prescribed by a doctor. Fits (seizures) may occur in children with history of fits.

Keep out of the sight and reach of children.

Be careful not to get this product in your eyes, nostrils and mouth or swallow it. If any of this happens, rinse well with water. See your doctor if any discomfort. Do not use on open wounds or damaged skin with occlusive dressings or bandage or a heating pad.

If the pain does not improve within 7 days, or it gets worse, consult your doctor.

Important information about some of the ingredients in this product: Eucalyptus oil: In children below 30 months eucalyptus oil may induce spasm of the muscles around the voice box, causing choking.

Contains liquid petroleum gas, isopropyl alcohol and light liquid paraffin: Be cautions when smoking or near naked flames due to risk of severe burns. This is a pressurized container & contains light liquid paraffin which is potentially flammable when it builds up on fabric (clothing, bedding, dressings etc.) and may not be totally removed by laundering.

you are pregnant, think you may be pregnant
you are breast-feeding

Side effects

With use of this product, you may develop: Application site hypersensitivity, application site reaction; skin burning sensation, rash, itching.

Overdose - Consult your doctor immediately if you apply the medicine more than you should or if you swallow this product.
